Trump signs executive order unwinding Obama climate policies

US President Donald Trump on Tuesday signed an executive order to nullify former President Barack Obama's coal regulations, saying his new plan will put an end to the war on coal.

Trump called the move a historic step to lift restrictions on American energy, reverse government intrusion, and cancel job-killing regulations. The order will suspend, rescind, or flag for review restrictions in order to boost domestic energy production in the form of fossil fuels.
