US President voices strong support for NATO

U.S. President Donald Trump on Sunday spoke with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg by phone about the United States' "strong" support for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

According to the White House, President Trump agreed to join a meeting of NATO leaders in Europe in late May and called on NATO member countries to contribute more to this organization.

In another development, President Donald Trump declared that the judge who blocked his travel ban will be responsible if America is attacked. Mr. Trump said Judge James Robart had placed America in "peril", by allowing citizens of seven Muslim majority countries that had been barred from entering the US to come "pouring in" to the country.

Earlier, President Donald Trump announced that he would overturn the ruling by judge Robart. The US Department of State on Saturday announced that it will continue to allow Muslim people with eligible visa to enter the US.
