US urges North Korea to take specific actions towards denuclearization
US national security adviser John Bolton said Thursday that President Donald Trump plans to hold a second summit meeting early next year with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
In an interview with NPR radio, Bolton said Trump wants to offer another opportunity for North Korea to realize the commitments it made during the Singapore summit in June.
Bolton said the US will consider loosening sanctions when North Korea has taken meaningful steps to dismantle its nuclear weapons program.
When asked whether or not it will be the last chance for North Korea, Bolton said everything will be decided after the next meeting and refused to forecast Trump's next steps.
