Vietnam to cooperate with UK in combating human trafficking

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has recently issued a plan to implement a memorandum of understanding on anti-human trafficking cooperation signed between Vietnam and the UK.

The plan includes recommendations for establishing an inter-sector working group and organizing joint activities.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is tasked with making sure its representative offices in the UK and other countries effectively carry out citizen protection measures, particularly for the victims of trafficking. It will also work with the Vietnamese agencies in cooperating with the UK to jointly investigate human trafficking cases and crack down on human trafficking networks.
