HCMC stages firework displays to celebrate National Day

Ho Chi Minh City celebrated the National Day with firework displays at many locations. A big number of people visited the Ho Chi Minh Museum at Nha Rong Wharf where President Ho Chi Minh departed for national salvation.

82-year-old Chung Thi Kim My said she came here to offer incense to President HCM every year: We commemorate President Ho Chi Minh for his merits for the nation. I also worship him at home. In the past we were very happy to witness national reunification day. President Ho will continue to bless the nation and people with peace and happiness.

An Australian man Borris Chris said he learned about President Ho Chi Minh and respected his sacrifice for the nation: I respect President Ho Chi Minh. This is the first time I come and I know today is an important day of Vietnam. It's interesting to visit the Ho Chi Minh Memorial House on Vietnamese National Day.
