Max-Prep Pap’s Test Processor presented to Hung Yen hospital

PANO � The People's Army Newspaper (PAN) and the AnaPath Tech Co., Ltd. handed over a Max-Prep Pap's Test Processor to the Hung Yen provincial General Hospital in Hung Yen province on April 16.

Present at the hand-over ceremony were Major General Pham Van Huan, PAN's Editor-in-Chief, and Mr. Nguyen Van Phong, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee.

Cervical cancer is one of the most common malignant diseases of women and one of the four common causes of cancer mortality. Thus, the death rate from cervical cancer could be reduced through a comprehensive approach that includes early diagnosis.

The Max-Prep Pap's Test Processor is a VND-1.8 billion modern system with its diagnostic accuracy rate of up to 90 per cent.

Furthermore, AnaPath company is committed to providing a five-year warranty for the system and training courses for the hospital's medical staff.

Especially, within the course of five years, the company will offer at least 300 free kits for cervical cancer screening tests per year.
