Photo exhibition on Truong Sa archipelago to open in Hanoi

100 photos reflecting daily life of people and troops on Truong Sa Islands will be showcased at an exhibition to be opened in Hanoi from March 16 to 20. The event is co-organized by The Youth Club for the Homeland's Seas and Islands, the Navy Museum, and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

The exhibit aims to call on people's awareness on protecting the country's seas and islands. Tran Vu Thanh, Deputy head of the Youth Club for the Homeland's Seas and Islands said: "The exhibition, which is divided into 5 parts, features Viet Nam's naval soldiers and the youth's love for the soldiers who perform their military mission on the islands. The exhibition also displays some documents and other items related to the 9 lighthouses in the Truong Sa archipelago."
