Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc begins official visit to Japan

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc left Hanoi on Sunday for an official visit to Japan and for the 23rd International Conference on the Future of Asia from June 4th to 8th.

The Prime Minister's visit and attendance at the conference reflect Vietnam's respect for and determination to deepen its extensive strategic partnership with Japan in all aspects. The visit also aims at boosting the comprehensive economic cooperation between Vietnam and Japan at the central and grassroots levels and promoting discussions on regional and global issues. The visit also demonstrates Vietnam's active role in the region and its stance on globalization amidst challenges in Asia.
